Make your christmas a special one
« on: April 18, 2012, 05:04:31 PM »
I'll make sure ... although I'm planing to use before that!  :D

Just got this on my local charity shop for £0.50 each! Ten cameras / 24 exp 400 ISO - use by Aug12

Man...my two half-frames cameras are hungry for this  ;D

The cameras are reloadable so I'm assuming the lab would take the film out to be processed, and then send them back with a fresh one loaded.

This way made even easier as I didn't have to use the camera in completely darkness in order to get the film safe back into the cartridges, neither have to smash the whole thing... just opened the back door. In some disposable cameras the film is out of the cartridge and it wounds back inside as you use.

The cameras are in really bad shape...

The film cartridge comes with a generic sticker covering an old Kodak cartridge... just wondering whith what sort of film these cameras are loaded...

I've never seen disposables with a mechanically opening back!

Make sure you save them. There's bound to be something worth doing with all those flash units :)

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

To be honest Francois... me neither. I didn't even realized at the time I bought. When I got home I got the hammer ready for some action when I saw the rewind crank  :o

I guess the cameras can be re-used as a teaser gun... :P

Or as a variable power flash. Using simple switches, it should be easy to setup something to trigger 8-4-2-1 units at the same time. That would be a nice 4 stop range :)

cool! might be interesting poping a lens on that that it built for a flat lying film instead of a cruved one~
