Jobo CPE2 Processing
« on: March 12, 2007, 11:05:26 AM »
Technical advice/experiences...To kick me into developing more film I got a Jobo CPE2 processor at the weekend with loads of kit for sixty seven british pounds on youknowhere.co.uk.

Does anyone use this machine. Any pointers for black and white developing? Mainly Ilford Fp4 and Fuji Neopan 400 in HC110. I also use Tanol so if anyone has used the CPE2 with staining developer it would be interesting to hear from you.

Thanks

My friend has that processor. He told me you're supposed to use Kodak Xtol for that unit.

there are no reasons why you cant use most/ any developers in it, but if you use accutance type developers, the accutance effect wont be as pronounced as the agitation is constant (I'm not sure that in real terms this will make much difference).

I just ran a search over at apug and got this ...http://www.apug.org/forums/search.php?searchid=2199030
hope that helps

I use a jobo lift processer to do color printing in, but not BW. Just an FYI, if you find you like it, you might start looking for a back up or parts unit as JOBO went under recently.
