Finally managed to develop a roll of black and white! Arax 88, 30mm Arsat fisheye, Fomapan 400 (thanks LD), Rodinal 1:100, not totally even development ;)

Again in the little village Sainte-Marie-du-Mont in the French Alps.

Oooohh, that looks cold. What a contrast. We have had two sand storms in a row down here. It looks funny as then the sky seems to be cloudy, of course there is no more than billions of ultrafine dust  particles fighting to get inside the camera  >:(

Two more portraits, this time group portraits. The one in the tuk-tuk I remember pretty well. I spent many hours walking and travelling around khartoum, dusty, hot, dusty and hooot, but very few shots.

Love 'em all so far but Calbisu's first is a beauty. Love the expressions on the faces of those chaps....

Mine are from last weekend spent in Dent and Hardraw (the waterfall shots) in the Yorkshire Dales:

We had the pleasure of Graham's (Wensleydale Blue) company the day after these were taken. Some of what we shot with Graham next week. The last one in this series was a bit of a mistake - end of a roll that got chewed (somehow) but I still like it for all its imperfections.

All taken on Ilford XP2 Super using Hasselblad 500c/m.

I was sorting my negs from last year and came across this portrait.
I don't do a lot of these, but this one just had such great tones I think it was worth scanning.

Like that shot Keith--great attitude.  I've rediscovered how much I like Acros too. Shot this on my Ikoflex yesterday--I set it on a tabletop and exposed at 1/30 and f/5.6.  Souped it today in RO9 at 1:50.

Hi all,

I got a Hasselblad a few weeks ago and so now I'm just experimenting with it.  This is a scene near my house in Philly.
I like the camera a lot.

Hello again everyone. There are some great shots here already (as expected from such a talented bunch of wasters  ;) ). I'm digging way back into the archives for my addition to the thread as I've recently been asked to scan some of my old band photos from back in the day. This one is of Ian at the wheel of the van in 1989, driving from DC to Chapel Hill, NC for Fugazi's first ever out of town gig. Very happy memories of these couple of days.

It was shot on an incredibly cheapo plastic camera; all I can remember is that it was bright red....and really, really rubbish (but not in a good way...in a bad way!). This was scanned from the original drug store print and then brought back to life contrast-wise via P'shop.

I particularly like SprayNPray's top pic - the way an already beautiful shape gets abstracted by the depth of focus and the eye gets drawn. Wonderful.

Yes! Diane, that living room shot is great. It's good to see a pinhole taken inside rather than outside for a change. I messed around with indoor pinholes for a while, but never got anything as good as yours.

Thank you Ed. ! when you get past the fact that it is going to prolly takes hours  of exposure and just deal with it, it becomes a lot of fun!! I am so sick of snow that it just isn't any fun to go out and try despertly to find something that isn't covered with white!!

When I was about 14 I had a summer job moving boxes at a friend's father's business, he was something to do with Hasselblad distribution in the UK. He told me the story about it being the camera taken to the moon. Ever since I've hankered after one, but I've never felt I could justify it.

Well I've finally bitten the bullet and at the moment we're circling each other, each not quite sure what to make of the other. Apart from the fact it takes me about 10 mins to take a shot, and weighs as much as a small car, I love it.

These are from my first test roll.

Ok, there are some weekends that are special and I think this is one of them. Keith´s (so classy), Ed´s (fantastic), Terry´s (I love portraits), Diane´s first Pinhole and Nigel´s second one (that could even pass as a Rolleiflex one  ;D) are my favorites so far..

Well some people complain about the snow and I complain about the sand and dust...  :D

Two Polas 108, from our weekend in the desert, a sand dune and beautiful Elena  ;D. Little Alma rode a camel for first time! And that was cool : ) On our way back to Khartoum we were hit by a sand storm that traveled with us all the way back (250Km...)

I wanted to go there this past December but never made it out of the Mojave Desert Preserve.  :)
The Ektar seems well suited for that Agfa Cadet.    :)
