I picked up a 1946 edition of 'Graphic Graflex Photography' by Morgan & Lester on evilBay last week and it turned up at Wenn Mansions this morning; announcing its arrival with a very satisfying wallop as it tumbled through the letterbox. Haven't read it yet obviously, but have done some comprehensive browsing and I suspect it'll become a bit of an addiction over the next few months. Very excited by it indeed. 400+ pages of 1940's style info about Graflex products and a LOT of amazing info about photography in general from a variety of contributors.
Skorj, you
need to pick up a copy of this beauty. Lots of cartoons/illustrations/engravings in the style that you like. Heaven!!
This isn't what my copy looks like, but here's a shot of the 1944 edition that's currently for sale. Mine doesn't have the dust jacket and the cloth cover is cream with blue lettering. You can get 'em cheap on evilBay....if you're at all interested then I'd seriously consider it.
