Sorry all for the confusion. I've just remembered that Broadstairs faces east. In winter, after about mid day, the sun disappears behind the town and leaves the beach in shadow, so there's no point going there in the afternoon.
So .... Sat 7th January 2012 ...
Itinerary as follows:
1. Park up in Eastern Esplanade, Broadstairs, Kent (Approximately CT10 1DU) at 10:00 am, walk down to beach and along to Viking Bay, take pics, chat, wander, then back to cars.
2. Stop at pub for lunch (not decided which yet - will do soon)
3. Go to the Monks Granary at Standard Quay Faversham (ME13 7BS), have a wander around the Iron Wharf Boat yard and up/ around the creek.
Being realistic about the limited winter daylight, I don't think we'll have time to do Reculver as well.
Sorry to mess about with this. I think that should be it now. Cant think of any other problems with the plans.
done
And we MUST get a picture of the cameras set up on tripods in a line - excellent!
