From a cheap Pop9 camera (they were liquidating them at the camera store 'cause nobody was buying them). I thought half-frame made small negatives. Quarter-frame is even smaller but 9 frames on a picture is somewhat ridiculous.

For fun, I scanned only 1 frame per grid. The image is potentially smaller than what you get from a Minox.
I also did the comparison between with/without sharpening in Epson Scan. Guess which is which ;)

I've always wanted one of those pop9 cameras but the price always put me off... does that makes the smallest format/frame ever?

I reckon the first shot is without the sharpening... I really like the last shot!

Well, the camera started at 50 something, then dropped to 24$, then to 19$... and I got it.
As for the size, the individual images are about 6x9mm... small.
Here's what they look like when compared to my thumb :)

p.s. lack of sharpness is due to my scanner (about due for an upgrade, just cant get any scans, negs or prints anywhere near as sharp as real life) also the slight pinkness around the edges is due to the fact I have temporarily misplaced the white background thingy for my scanner. I havent done any colour correcting

Is that IP film?
If so, they're really improving their stuff...

it is indeed, new IP px-70, its really improving loads. px680 was their biggest leap but this is really awesome aswel. but to be fair it improved before that, basically anything after the first flush in the black and white range was much better especially the uv+ but the colour took a little longer to improve but is well worth a go now. its also getting slightly cheaper aswel, px680 ff being only 16GBP

anyway i promise im not a fan boy, just not quite as quick to condem as some older balder people i know :-P
