Here's a big part of my statement

My work explores the relationship between postmodern discourse and urban spaces.

With influences as diverse as Munch and Andy Warhol, new synergies are created from both explicit and implicit textures.

Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of meaning. What starts out as hope soon becomes debased into a cacophony of lust, leaving only a sense of chaos and the chance of a new understanding.

As spatial impressions become transformed through emergent and personal practice, the viewer is left with a glimpse of the inaccuracies of our world.

I have to write a great many artist statements, as Im sure most everybody else here has, and every time I have to do it, I have to start from scratch, as if I'd never written one before. I can never remember how to write them so I always do google searches to find examples and this website is the one I always find. I love it. Funny with great examples of what not to do, IMHO.

they did indeed - it's the pomo generator.  I was introduced to it when we covered Pomo critical law at college. It is Pomo on just about every level there is (mind you, there are no more levels anymore, levels dont exist).

Like all great p*ss-takes, it is so close to the truth to be almost impossible to be differentiated from the truth.
