Ahh Sorry the third one isn't a holga picture, it's from that chunky grey camera I was using yesterday too - Finetta 88. Obviously I was too tired yesterday to post things properly yesterday hehe :)

A few more. Brought my Recesky TLR to Ford's Greenfield Village in Detroit during Civil War days.

Hey! I got a decent shot out of the 4 left in that pack :) 25% keeper rate isn't so bad for a new camera, right?

I think it's more black because i wasn't holding it against my body and warming it up. I just shoot into a dark plastic bag (the 4x5 film inner bag), leave it a while, try to wiggle it out into the bag without too much light then abandon it for 5 minutes or until I remember it again.

Had to get used to not having a tripod mount and something went funny and overexposed on the last picture I took. I *think* the cheap polaflash I bought a couple of years ago at photographica, which just sort of hugs the SX-70, has a tripod mount on the bottom of it... Have to remember where it is since I moved a few months ago though.

I like it! Ektar is a great film, once I'm on budget again I'll have to buy some again. The Mat needs to get out again.

1 from some old film that has been in my fridge for more than 2 years waiting to be developed, until this weekend.  Slightly over processed in photoshop .... :

@choppert

....I use the colorneg filter for photoshop. It's a great starting point for scanned negatives. I generally overexpose my shots by a stop at least because I personally like the look I get plus its easier to harness and control the levels in photoshop after the fact IMO.

Phil, Heather, Sorj & Leon ... topper.

Just developed the first role from the Photographica Brownieflex and although boring from the subject matter it looks like she's dandy, also did a roll from the Coronet 6x6 and the Mamiya C3 I've been loaned and I think it could be a new favorite (to quoate Alison Krauss).  A roll of Leg Pro died in the Fed Micron  >:( winding on half frames can be a pain and an expired roll of Delta 3200 in a Chinon SLR but they look a bit thin.

Really need a scanner that can do 120 etc ...

Excited about the Mam C3 and Brownieflex now  ;D ;D ;D

Mind you, I'm really not biased. I genuinely don't care who beats Manchester United... ;)

Late Developer: Heh! Heh! I like you more and more, Paul  :D ;D

Glad you guys got to go to the Angry Exhibition (sorry, the London Street Photography exhibition). I've been three times and enjoyed it every time. It's on until September, people, so if you're ever in London, don't forget to pop along. I've just finished editing a little segment about it for the next podcast, so even people outside of the UK will get a little flavour of the action.

Re this thread in general; great stuff as always and I'm gutted I'm not in a position to contribute. If I wasn't all at sixes and sevens with the loft conversion we have going on at home (i.e. chemicals, cameras, black bag and tanks packed away again, so no developing for another month or two) and the fact that I'm trying to get the next bleddy podcast finished I'd be able to contribute to these things more.

BUT, it's good to see The Mighty Ms McWhinnie kicking things off this week with her lovely photos and doubly exciting to see someone called Susan commenting on them  ;)

Paul Mitchell: Great to meet you at Photographica and I love, love, love your pinholes. We need to have another chat sometime because I'm about to resurrect my Zero 2000 and need some pinhole tips. Will start a thread when I'm set up and you and the other pinhole aficionados can pour your wisdom into my brain.

First few from my developing session  ;D

A TTV (but flim based Ed !) using my latest SLR a Chinon CE-4 and the new Brownieflex 20, a grave in Sheffield General Cemetery (recommend that place for wasting) and the first pic from the Brownieflex !

Label wrong, its FP4+ in the Brownieflex and expired Delta 3200 in the Chinon that always comes out "thin" for me ...

I've had similar problem with a Konica T3. The problem was the batteries: it's made for mercury cells. Zinc-air cells send the meter wild and I had to divide the ISO by 4 to get proper exposure!

Also, could be the film that is too old... overexposure should fix the problem. I have just run a test of a roll of HP5 that I got used inside a bulk loader. Even though it's rated at 400 ISO, I'll probably end up exposing it at EI 100 to get enough detail in the image..

Miles Detla 3200 is generally a thin film if you expose at 3200 without using a speed increasing developer.

try it at 1600 (the true speed(or less as it is expired)) but develop it for the suggested time for 3200.  You'll get a better result that way.

:)

Thanks for the tips chaps.

A couple more from the Coronet 6x6 and one from the Mam C3.  Brighton Pavilion, Herne Bay Pier Pavilion and the lift door from the infamous Park Hill / Hyde Park Flats in Sheffield.

@ Gregor - just beautiful work. Superb.

@ Miles - love your series but the Herne Bay shot is definitely the one for me.
