and from the footage they showed... Idk, looked like they were using webcams to take the photos.
I've heard before that Ilford has been supplying and relying on film for ID-cards in that region for keeping the company alive.


so if they're using film: great news for ilford! 

but if not...   

anyone here heard anything about this?

Actually, the hike in price was probably due to the 46% increase in silver prices over the last two years...

Actually it's due to the rise in petrol prices aka transport cost of materials both in and out. The silver costs mere pennies per roll compared to all the other stuff that goes into making a roll of film or a box of paper.
