New Toy - 6x9 view camera
« on: April 04, 2011, 06:03:43 PM »
Here is my new toy - the Horseman 985 MF view camera. Apart from a few use marks, it's in amazingly good nick, and after a good clean up this afternoon, it's looking great.  I'll do a Skorj-esque review once I've run a few films through it:

Wow!

And you didn't even give the Lego camera a chance... sheesh!  ;)

That camera has some serious tilt shift capabilities! I am so envious!

Oh wow. I can't wait for the images. But I know I'd never use a camera that big. But it would still look good on a shelf ;)

Urban - it's not that big, only about a 3rd of the size of my shen hao 5x4.

Erin - yes, loads of movements.  Sadly, the lenses that came with it dont have great image circles, so aren't really appropriate for tilt/shift/sliding etc. I'll try to get my 5x4 lenses onto the boards, they'll cover the film area +++ nicely.

now - if only I had some time to try it out.

That depends, I guess. I sold my Fuji GW690 because it was too big ...
