Mrs LD ("Lara") and I will do our best to be there for 10am. It shouldn't be a problem, though we're travelling via "National ~~Express~~ Disgrace" from East Anglia, as we do every weekday morning. Consequently, as it's such a crap service, arrival (let alone arrival time) at Liverpool Street is variable in the extreme.

It doesn't appear they have any scheduled engineering works (or other pre-planned excuses for delays) on that weekend, so the 07:13 + a tube ride to Victoria should have us there well before 10:00.

If I don't manage to get Filmwaster shirt or other prominent item printed before then, I'll be wearing a Che Guevara T-Shirt. As I am not the smallest of people, my frame, grey crew cut and glasses should be recognisable. If someone wants to volunteer to take a note of my mobile number and give me theirs, I can also find you if we are delayed for whatever reason.

That might work better than trying to get everyone together beforehand. There's a cafe in the hall itself, but I can't see us getting everyone round a table like last time (I assume there will be more of us this year?).

I know a few faces from last year so I'm happy to commit to be there by 10am and station myself on the steps with a cup of Java sporting my FW t-shirt. If someone can nominate a local pub just in case we do miss anyone? I like the idea of some liquid refreshment then heading back to hoover up any last-minute impulse purchases.

I will be staying at a friends house (whose address I have yet to find out) but am hoping to have a venture round the big smoke for a bit of street photography or general madness on saturday 21st so If anyone fancies it let me know. obviously will be easier to plan once i know where my friend lives, will keep you posted.

I just spoke to someone at Silverprint who will have a stall at Photographica, they are going to be selling a whole bulkload of AGFA APX100 for £1 a roll special offer - I asked if they could sell some 120 film cheap too and he said he would see what he could do...

Have been searching for a joint to get a full english in my tum beofre it kicks off, you would think f you ran a website that listed all the places in London in a data base you might ask a simpe question for instance "What are your opening hours?"

chuffed with the bargains only wish i had more cash for the wonderfully cheap deal on the apx! came away with 7 rolls, which much like Thil, soon became 6 after wasting one away throughout the day and on the journey home (will get it dev'd + scanned and sent to you ed if you fancy some more shots for the vidcast)

i concur on the note that we should get together again soon! would be a shame to leave it another year. howabout that fair in wolverhampton ?! much more convenient for me :-)

What a busy weekend!!

After spending quite a few time at the Photographica I still managed to see the Watercolour exhibition at the Tate Britain and take some pictures as the weather was beautiful...my legs are killing me now!

It was really nice to be able to see some of the filmwaters friends today, shame I couldn't go the pub... top marks to Ed as well as he recognized me even though I wasn't wearing my Ramones T Shirt!!

What I had in mind to buy was way out of my budget so ended up spending the little money I had on 10 rolls of the cheap Agfa, some Adox 120 and a £0.50 1964 expired funny film called Perutz that comes with the leader ready cut for the screw mount Leica.

But the bargain really came as I was leaving the fair when I saw this little Vito B in almost pristine condition on the "borken cameras for £10.00" table. The guy in the end sold me for £5 and I guess I just managed fixing...
