an old film
« on: January 05, 2007, 09:51:35 PM »
Last week, I found an exposed reel of 35mm orwopan 125 in a drawer.  I had no idea what was on it, or how long it had been there, so I developed it in some beutler HD for the hell of it.  It turned out to be from my Honeymoon in Cornwall nearly two years ago ... how on earth that one slipped through the net, I'll never know, but here a few shots.

I was using my Voigtlander VF101, which is quite a temperamental little beasty, it has Aperture priority only but the meter is a bit ddogy, some were way over exposed and some under.  THese are only neg scans, but I think I'll be printing a few soon.

How many more classic photographs are waiting to be developed in your kitchen drawer? These are tremendous.

Those sort of surprises are great, I just love the mystery. These three frames are great well worth the find just for these. Phil

I may start calling you 'Gnarly Stump' instead of 'The Druid' from now on...has a nice ring to it (you like my wedding pun?)
