Stroke of luck...Free bronica 645
« on: February 08, 2011, 10:47:36 PM »
Cant recall if i mentioned this....But I landed a free bronica 645.

The husband of one of my moms friends had it in the house, sat in a box for 18 yrs.

I need to get a chance to use it out and about.   These were really just making sure it works...

Score!
 ;D

I loved how small the 645 was when I owned one a couple of years back. I sold it in the end to buy an S2A, but I'd love to have been able to keep hold of it. I did shoot a few films with it though. In fact, I had it on me the day that you Skorj and I went out shooting in Sarf London with Skorj Jnr. Happy times!

Very nice piece of kit. I love Bronnies; I used to have an SQ-B years ago.

I had a piece of good fortune recently. I'm scanning some negs for a friend of mine who had two identical Adox 6x6 folders - and he very kindly gave me one of them. Looks to be in nice condition - no creaks or rattles - so I'll be testing it out soon.

Free is great, isn't it....!!

Got to love those strokes of luck. My best one ever was a free 8x10 Korona.
