another solargraph

Besides leaving pinhole cameras out for six months between the solstices, I also like to leave them out for the few days of the actual solstices.

I left this camera in Moab, Utah facing a small pond December 18-25 which were the days that the Sun was at its lowest track across the sky.

Again, homemade pinhole camera, very expired Kodak Poly Black and White photo paper.
Scanned, inverted and adjusted contrast.

Happy New Year everyone!

That really is great, I'm fascinated by the colour on b&w paper.

Thanks all!
The original dimensions of this one are
2-7/8 x 1-3/4 inches  since this one was inside a 35mm film can.

I cut the papers to fit whatever can I happen to be using so some are larger and in the 4 x 6 range.

My favorite container is the 35mm cans, since they are easy to get, take a very wide image, and are quite stealthy out in the wild.  :)

Here's the raw scan of the tree from a week or so ago that I posted.
(Before I inverted it)

This has only been fixed after being exposed for six months.

The photo paper was some very expired Kodak poly RC.
