Oh my!  Would love to see the "derelict" owner that lives here Photo Utopia.....

Lovely set of photos from all this go round.  Having a hard time picking a favorite, but really am liking Andrea's rocky bridge photo.

Hasselblad swc and Fuji 160C. This was interesting to shot as it was blowing a gale and I had consumed a bottle of wine. Not a good combination :-[ hic!

hookstrapped - really beautiful model and portrait...
pryan9 - I really like the faux pano shots, great sharp images !
phil - the details on the Crete hotel are incredible !
suzi - lovely portraits...
gregor - beautiful polaroids... somehow they look like glass plates...
aoluain - cool... you should try the burger... it's delicious !
mikeg - the second scarecrow shot is brilliant !! nice and warm colour tones

I don't really have anything new... I'm working on my website and re scanning some old negs. Here are a couple from my Thunderbirds 110 camera taken few years ago, hope it's ok to show...

Mauricio, anything you've got is fine by me...and Battersea Power Station is doubly fine by me  :D

Personally I'm on a roll these days and clocking up 3-in-3 when it comes to weekend threads on Filmwasters. For once I actually planned a shot in advance (like, the night before) and other than Joe creeping into frame as I tripped the shutter, everything worked out remarkably well.

I spent a chilly 30 minutes in the garden with the kids yesterday and set up the Tachihara on its tripod more in hope than in expectation that anything would come of it. I pre-focussed by getting Amy to stand on a memorable patch of moss for about 30 seconds and took a light reading at the same time. I stopped down to f16 to get a decent DOF to cope with what I knew would end up being a very rushed photo. 20 minutes later when she was playing around with a circle of ice (harvested from a bowl of water we'd left out the night before), I managed to coax her in front of the lens for about 20 seconds. No time to look through the ground glass and compose a shot, so it was lucky that I was prepared.

Tachihara + expired Fujifilm FP-100B45.

Now, as to the whole matter of why the heck I'm outside in sub-zero temperatures with an LF camera trying to take what amount to no more than family snapshots of uncooperative children when i could be using a 35mm SLR or even a digi....Good point. Let me get back to you on that one.

 :D :D

I've been a tad absent of late. Gregor's Flowers and Ed's Copter are very cool.  Here's one from this summer on a roll of Sensia that had been lost in the post.  Taken on the Petri 7SII.

Ed, I think the result is the answer to that. For me, the best one this week.

It would've been far too easy ed... we filmwasters are in search of an extra challenge that gives us something more special rather than a just digi snapshot ;) Congratulations ...!

One more from me. This is an important ingredient in our cooking.

Minolta X-300, 50mm f/1.4 wide open, Agfa Precisa CT slide film.

Miles: Love it. Excellent palette and just enough twistedness in the subject matter.  :)

Urban: I'm with you on the smoked chillies (and so is Leon)....damn, I really need to start Foodwasters up again sometime soon.

Peter/Sapata: Cheers for the kind words; much appreciated. Maybe I'll try it again next weekend  ;)

And she doesn't look like she lets the cold affect her either. I'm surprised since I'm always wrapped-up in thick fleece for most of the winter.

Urban- I use those same smokey peppers in my cooking.  Yum!

Ed- Yes, Foodwasters would be great to start back up, especially this time of year when everyone is cooking holiday treats!

Wow! That first one is just great! Both those portraits too Suzi are really nice. I went to a wedding and was lucky enough to have a Pathfinder loaded with some ID-UV (thanks Sean!), and a lovely bride:

What beautiful stuff from this past holiday weekend!  Skorj - that image could have been taken in the early 70s.  Lovely.  And Gregor, WHAT a vision, those 665s!

You are so modest Skorj - weren't you the proud Father - of - the - Bride?  Congrats to you and the happy couple.

Stupendous Picture by the way on a million levels of stupendousness.

Thank you Ann. Happily, one of these made shot of the day on Polanoid.net.
