Score one more for the lowly Holga!
« on: November 16, 2010, 02:27:43 PM »
I was seriously surprised to see a cute little red Holga 135 as part of a layout in the current issue of Esquire magazine.

It's on page 164, and being held by a guy wearing a $3,995 Armani tuxedo....
guess he has the $$ to buy lots of film.   :)

Yay film!

I hope he's not pressing the film advance knob as well, or looking for the LCD screen  ;D

since we are so anti-digital around here, i figure i will sneak this under the wire here.

prototype digital holga from a japanese toy expo... at least it's pretty! i like the fact that it is "coating-less"!

It's also "variable"... I still can't figure out what it means... does it mean it gets mood swings every months? ??? ???

Me too.

But I would like to see and hold such a camera. It sure does look pretty.

Makes me laugh because it looks so much more "sophisticated" than what we're used to seeing from the brand :)

Maybe they'll get the aperture to work on the first try this time ;)
