Over the sea to Skye

Okay, I know this isn't one of those gallery sites where everybody just offloads all their stuff. However, I've just had my first roll of Fuji Acros 100 processed, scanned it and I'm kind of pleased with the results. One or two have some odd lines down the side. Not sure what these are - hopefully not from the camera.

I'm not going to bombard the site with my holiday snaps (another 19 rolls to come..!) but hope you like these:

Nice work! As for the lines, I occasionally get them with my Hasselblad. I have no idea what causes it, I have just assumed it is something to do with my loading of the film as it is very intermittent!

I really enjoy the last one.  Skye is all about mists, or so we are told. 

If you post your other 19 rolls to one of those gallery sites where everybody just offloads all their stuff. then let us know.  I for one would be interested in seeing more.

Thanks for the comments folks.

Blaxton - I'll be posting on my Flickr site as and when I get the films processed (not a cheap option when you don't process @ home). Yes, Skye refers to itself as "The Misty Isle" and I had no reason to doubt it on many occasions during the holiday. That was part of the reason for going. My wife would have rather it had a reputation for being called "The tropical Isle with great weather and excellent diving" - but it's too early in the climate change cycle for that wish to come true....

Love the boats and the last one. Am passing through Skye next month hope I get some mist!

Not being an expert I would hazard a guess at the marks being caused by some internal reflection?

I recognize those lines particularly on the side of the 2nd image up top here.  I get the exact same thing on occasion from my scanner (not on the negs).  Never consistent but when it occurs it's frustrating. 

I've read support forums from others about these lines being dust on the sensor and that there are ways to blow it off, but I'm clueless how to take apart the scanner bed and do this.
