Pinhole - first attempt
« on: October 15, 2010, 07:23:31 AM »
Some shots from my first attempts at pinhole. I used a roll of neopan 400 developed in aculux (and some photoshop to adjust the exposure)

Was that your 'pinhole in a Stornoway kipper' camera Mr Windy?

Excellent set, especially for your first pinholes, they have that 'tunnel back in time' feeling to them. Can we know more about the type of camera etc?

Ian

Did you make the pinhole and if so what technique did you use?

Hi Mike - see link in post above. You can download the template from there (My son's friend made it and gave it to him to pass on to me)

Great images. I particularly like the bottom one of the coats next to the window.

Phil

Sorry I think I wasn't clear enough. The plan calls for a 1 mm pinhole.
Do you know how your friends son made this?

Thank you

Mike

Mike -

I saw Marc (who made the camera) in town yesterday. He just used a normal dress making pin.

I also met a someone (a local photographer/flickr contact) who suggested the hole is too big and too ragged, so I'm going to try to adapt using foil
