That's on my "to see" list.

At risk of threadstealing...

A shorter run time on this exhibit but online it sounds like it'll be fantastic
http://www.chrisbeetles.com/ The Photographers, starts today runs to the end of the month. All the big names in photography in one show and it's free because it's a gallery. They tend to sell exhibition catalogues at the gallery for £10 but I wouldn't be surprised if they raised that a bit for this exhibition (but maybe they won't).

And also the rather interesting Eadweard Muybridge at Tate Britain too until 16 January 2011

Suzi / Heather.

Thanks for the heads up. I fully intend visiting "The Photographers" and the "Shadow Catchers".

The photographers seems very interesting, kind of 'greatest hits' type of exhibition.
 ;D
There's more to this photography thing than meets the eye.

I'm going to see the Shadowcatchers exhibition tonight although I'm in agony from a pulled muscle in my shoulder. I'll wince my way through it..

Wow!
I feel so much less lonely now!
I'm not any more the only filmwaster who had to suffer for his art ;)

(for those who missed this last April: my head)

Hope you get well soon Suzi. While probably not an important injury, a pulled muscle can really be a real pain...

I hope you've fully recovered Francois!

Yes, pain. Agony actually. I've covered in heat patches and dosed up on painkillers.. I'll (hopefully) sleep well tonight..

Shadowcatchers at V&A - interesting, some really nice works here.. I especially liked the work of Susan Derges.. glad I went to see it but the chemigrams are not something I would like to explore in any great depth. Definitely preferred the gelatin silver pieces.

Oh yeah, fully recovered... even the bruised ego that came with it!
Thanks Suzi for your concern :)
