Awesome close up Gregor! Love the look of the print too. One of these days I'll figure out how to make my own prints. For now, its the ink jet for me.

Love the blue tint Diane. I've been taking lots of blue shots myself lately.

Took my shot yesterday. Trying out TIP's PX70 Color Shade. I know they call this color film and it is color, but as far as I can tell, its really only two colors, blue and green. The other colors are abnormalities in the film due to early exposure to he sun. Not that I mind though. Im just as in love with this color film as I am with the b&w, God help me.  :)

Entries into the Cooperstown Pumpkin Festival are judged by weight only--color, shape and sincerity are not taken into consideration.  Here is a photo (Leica, 24mm lens, Tri-x, Xtol) of the second place pumpkin and the first place water mellon.

Processed over the last few days. Hasselblad 501cm with Fuji 160c. It is from an old derelict pharmacy I  discovered on the island of Crete a few years back.

Gregor, I like the bluriness.

Diane, toy cameras rule.

Mojave, awesome instant. I'm looking forward to test this film. Have you tried the new UV+ bw ?

Blaxton, good one. First Francois and now you. Is it giant vegetable week ?

Suzi, great tones. I like the subtle toning of the bw.

Phil, you have a very distinctive style. I like it. I saw some pics you took on flickr and I guessed they were from you before I saw your name. Great picture.

Cal, I love that format. I like very low-key contrasty color portraits. It all works for me.

Peter, I like the lo-fi photojournalism you're doing.

Here's my contribution for the week-end. Took out some expired 220 and tried it out last week-end. Got around to scan it yesterday.

Today at the fank.
- dipping the sheep in the village. All the crofters get together to help. Wonderful day today - warm sunshine and the most stunning sunrise. [see as I drove the community shop van to get the papers from town].

In the cafe' , Ullapool.

Taken with a camera [no idea which one] on Polypanf film rated at 200 and developed in Rodinal 1@100 - 1 hour. As you do.

some 665 from my camping trip. first is virgin, utah; second is hurricane, utah; and the third is colorado city in AZ, the mormon polygamist community. i shot about 30 or so in the town, and managed to not get pulled over and escorted out of town. all very strange...these huge clapboard mansions to house the big families.

Gregor, I really dig your shot.

Erin, I do have a problem with the TIP stuff, but, your shot using it is just delightful.

Sean, good on ya for getting out alive and without several wives! That last shot, sheesh, not the most attractive of houses I have to say. An interesting series of shots.

Thanks all for the compliments!

Suzi - Great carousel shot!
Phil - Love that pharmacy shot. I am always amazed at what you find in your abandoned Crete buildings. And thank you for saying you like my shot even though you dont like TIP.  ;D
Calbisu - Not sure about uninspired because that portrait is really gorgeous!
Wavebeat - great color!
Johann - Great moody sky! And no, havent tried the UV b&w yet but plan to soon.
Andrea - Im really digging that last shot inside the cafe.
Sean - All the shots are great but I find myself staring a lot at the last one. Im fascinated by how that house is made and why it was made and wonder about the people living inside it. Fascinating.
Sapata - Love those city shots. Great lines.
Miller - Totally recognized that expired 669. Great compostion.
Mark - Love the portraits, especially the last one.
Paul - Another wonderful pinhole.

Another set of shots taken in Brazil, this time is the very small city of Paraty in the Estate of Rio de Janeiro... The Rollei is easy becaming my favorite medium format camera (from the ones I own ;) )... the original files looks way better than this though.

As ever, some stunning images. Paul Mitchell's pinhole image is just beautiful. No lens and no in-camera metering - just goes to show what can be achieved by sheer luck - er, I mean great skill and knowledge of your subject  ;)

Here's one of my feeble efforts taken earlier in the summer. This is by way of a reminder that it can be warm enough to walk round in shirt sleeves in the UK - albeit briefly - during June, July and August:

I'm in awe of your pinhole Paul.. *sigh*

Love those shots of Sao Paulo, didn't realise the buildings there were so big..

Got this back today, one of my colour shots at the Donkey Derby taken with my Dacora Digna and expired Portra 400VC.. I really like using this camera, should take it out more often.

Here's a couple of photos taken in London a couple of years ago with my old F3. The flower is a table dressing from a Thai restaurant just off Middlesex Street. The young lady is a street artist and her interpretation of The Beatles' "All You Need Is Love". I've given them a faux selenium tone by way of a change...
