Android tool for photography

Found a pretty cool Android app from kaipic.com

Doesn't use the phone's camera, well not on mine.

But you can use in TV, AV or M mode and select an EV setting (EV6 brightly lit interior)

And then select aperture (in AV mode) it will then display shutter speed.

Can also dial in the point of focus for a lens and a film format, and it will then tell you the DOF for that aperture

Aperture from .95 to 22 and shutter speeds from 4 to 1/4,000
Lenses from 7mm to 400mm

So...

200 ISO at F16 in a brightly lit interior shutter speed of 2s
80mm lens on my Mamiya 7 focussed at 18m the hyperfocal DOF would be 4.9m to infinity

Nifty

Cool, I've got an android phone. I've got the retro cam and vignette apps on it although I only really use them to take photos of my cat  ;D
