I think the purpose of this shot was to see if the AGAT's minimal focal distance was equal to the length of my arm, and at least at this aperture I think it is!

This is a frame off the first Fomo R100 reversal film I just put through my new to me Beaulieu R16. There is a fair amount of solarisation on many of the frames.

To sync the audio, you need a clapper board. Or a hand clap. Having the remote release in one hand left me only one had to clap, so it was a head slap for syncing :)

And solarization is never a bad thing in my book, especially when it's not just bland.

I am guessing it was either my insufficient agitation during bleaching, or insufficient re-exposure.

The first bleaching step before re-exposure was insufficient. What happens is that the first image creates a masking layer for the second one.
And since the image is quite enlarged, the Mackie line appears thicker.

No problem. And BTW it isn't an error it's a creative alteration 😉

I signed up a few weeks ago but didn't introduce myself yet. So…
Hi from France,
I started dabbling with film only a few years ago, but already fell in love with many ways to waste it:
- Expired film;
- Making my own Caffenol variant (rosemary-based, nicknamed "Romarinol");
- Panoramic on cropped/masked 24x36 in reloaded "panorama" disposables, toy cameras, and even some proper cameras with pano mode;
- The Xpan being absurdly expensive, I have a few projects to build Fauxpans with a 24x72 or 24x58 mask on 135 film.

This was shot on Fuji Superia 200 (exp. 2010.03) with a Ricoh 500 GX. This camera is a light leaks machine, I still have to replace its seals…

Bonjour Phil!

Hi, I'm Peter aka hookstrapped. I'm old, not new but have been away for a few years so thought I'd announce myself.

I got into old CCD digital cameras, particularly an Olympus E-300 for the Kodak sensor. I decided to shoot color with that and b&w with film and recently, with the help of Satish, scored an old Koniflex TLR in fantastic condition for very little money. I'll be paring down my collection of old film cameras that I accumulated during the pandemic in the near future, and I'd like to give you all first shot. So I'll be posting on that board soon.

Nice to be back!
