I'm glad that Leica is still manufacturing the M7 and MP. However, having spoken to a few contacts in shops that sell Leicas, getting hold of stock is incredibly difficult. I had my name down for a D-Lux 4 (okay, I know it's the spawn of the devil - i.e. digital - but I wanted one) and gave up after 4 months and bought the identical-in-all-but-body Panasonic LX3.

Apparently (in the UK at least) there's a very long waiting list for an M9. Does this suggest where Leica might be using its resources....?

I don't know... but the orange Leica does look yummy (and yes, I'm a sucker for orange stuff)

But still, I'd settle happily for a plain black M7
