While going through a box of miscellaneous stuff bought at a rummage sale, I found a set of keys which surprised me.
If anybody wonders what Zeiss-Ikon have been doing from the moment they shut down camera production and the time they were re-opened by Zeiss, this might be a part of the answer...

If you can make the link between lock smithing and cameras, you're welcome to share this thought!

A lot of the locksmiths / key cutting places here (Denmark) have big, fairly new looking Zeiss Ikon stickers in the window. I think they must make the machines that cut the blanks...

Either that or the keys belong to some amazing treasure chest full to the brim of Contaxes. There was no map at the rummage sale?

and yeah you can still order zeiss ikon locks/keys.

I know these are probably intended for high security applications as I've never seen keys like those. They are in the shape of a + with differently cut teeth on the sides...
