A few new ones, the first taken with a Pentacon Six Tl and Kodak Portra VC 400; the others were taken with a Nikon F and Fuji Superia 400.  Have a great weekend, everyone!

echo what phil says Walter - really nice ... in fact, I liked the copse shot so much that I've had a photoshop fiddle with it to show how I would have printed it in the darkroom - hope you dont mind?

Thanks chaps,

High praise indeed coming from folk of your callibre.

No problem with the adjustments.  I like what you did but for me it was more a matter of checking that the gear worked than actually making a statement.

Cheers,

Wow! Love these threads... Ray's color continues my fascination with the normal. Polaroids galore! Always makes me goop happy, and Leon's masterful post-camera work with great subject matter too - demonstrating (to me at least) the eye of a master printer is often the difference between good and excellent.

those are stunning carl!

i managed to take my first lf pic today.
not a great portrait (i dragged him away from decorating and made him change his orange t, so thanks rex :) but I was just so happy to peel it apart and find something there.

lessons learnt.
1. get a better tripod, mine's all plastic and bends all over the place.
2. over expose even more than i did.
3. don't take 2 years before using a camera again :)

Anyway, taken with a speed graphic on type 59 polaroid.

Vicky, good on ya for facing the fear - I have been staring at my FlexBody for about as long as you - I think I have taken about 5 shots with it. I know I need to knuckle down and and just get familiar with it and I shall!

been trying to get a good print off this for a awhile.  fairly thin neg. this may be the best it will go unless I take it to a lith or other alt process.... or I may just c-print it instead and develop for density only and then scan for giclee printing.

a couple of test shots on the new LF set up using some adox chs 100. I thought the improvement between 35mm and 120 was amazing, but the detail available from LF is utterly breathtaking.  Highlights especially. having problems with fingerprints on the film though ... need to hone my dds loading technique.

lovely stuff Leon and yes DDS's require a technique all of your own devising.

Mine is obviously to only handle by the edges - thats like telling my parents how to make kids - but it took a lot of practice to get the knack of that.
