In case poeople have missed this on the other "articles" thread I am starting one here.

The Gakkenlfex oddity is apparently back in the shops in Japan.  ... thanks to Skorj for providing this info ..

I have a friend who is currently visiting and I have emailed him to instruct him to buy me as many as he can.  However I'm worried that he wont check his emails and see my request or have the time to go into Tokyo to track them down.

If anyone has any ideas about any other way of getting one please post here.  I was very taken by the shots FW people posted in December (i remember some great stuff from Hookstrapped and Peter) from this odd little camera and I'd love to have one in my collection.

ok thanks I'll bear that in mind. 

I can only really afford to pay actual cost price at the moment as I have been recession-hit and resisting my more usual camera buying urges.  I hope my friend in Japan contacts me soon, I really like the lens effect on this thing
