You need to tell me whenever you get to drive cars like that...ill come and meet you......you can let me drive....it will be fine,  im better after a few drinks.   ill even drape myself over the bonnet so you can get yourself some shots

they don't tell you which "weird, old" cameras they actually use for the shots!

I can care more about supercars. But i rather see old Fuji rabbit scooters, 360cc kei cars/trucks, and pre 1970's Japanese automobiles

As mentioned; A few reasons these were used was because a Canon 40D Digital SLR just broke.

i'm used to going to events and being the only person not using a digital camera...

My dad had a Renault a long time ago (He can't remember if it was an 8 or a 10)... I think it was manufactured just after a long holiday. This car was literally cursed! On the same trip, the gas pedal fell to the floor (broken spring) and the stick shift broke off. My parents ended up driving back home over 1000km with a big screwdriver as a shift with a piece of underwear elastic tied to it to hold the gas pedal up!

They don't make them like this anymore :)

It works both ways, a decade ago I cruised this '74 Crown around London. Crown was the hi-end range from Toyota as Lexus is now. Most thought it American and it was dubbed Hawaii Five O. I'd love to drop a Japanese  'Century' in black, Chimpura style and as for French classics, just open your wallet and pour.
