The w/e ahead - nearly November
« on: October 29, 2009, 09:55:23 AM »
I'm away for a couple of days soon so thought I'd post this as I've just started a long-term project snapping up a Crofter who lives a few hundred metres away. This is from the first shoot yesterday morning with a Petri SLR [it was raining when I left home]/Foma400/Rodinal/Turkey.

A wonderful project - look forward to following it's development.

Having recently directed me to Ravilious' work, I think you've been planning this (and looking for a subject) for a while.

One from last nights scanning -

Here's a couple from my homemade wooden pinhole, scanned yesterday. The summer seems so long ago already!

The weekends nearly over, developed a roll of HP5 earlier today and in between trips to work I've been scanning the negs.

Test shots from my new AGFA Isola 1.  It has a neat little "pop-out" lens. :)

My weekend shot from Santa Fe,NM.
Made with an Olympus XA
Kodak NC 160 film

The Accordion and Violin players were on the plaza in Santa Fe across from the Governor's Palace.

They billed themselves thusly:
DUO DROMENSA
Fiery Gypsy and NeoBohemian Classics Accordion and Violin Duet
Available for parties, weddings, funerals and foreclosures.

Pedro Romero and Nathaniel Mahlberg
The guy on the far right was just a bystander who joined them on tambourine.

Nigel. Thank you. I can see now how the Isola would be a favourite. I'm impressed by such a simple lens.

Astrobeck.  Well done. I love a photo with an interesting little story like that.

Here are a few more from this past weekend with my Polaroid SX-70 Sonar, using Polaroid Artistic TZ film.
