Hey, just got Ed Wenns post card. Very nice, I like the foreboding storm clouds, really sets the mood. No worries on the lateness, as it's always nice to get a card in mail.

Just got Ed Wenn's card.  Wonderful image, creatively scuffed up by postal handling.

Always nice to find interesting photography in my mailbox.

Thanks Ed!

Thanks for the great card, Ed. The wait was worth it. I like the haunting quality of this image, it makes me look long and deep.

I too, like a slower world and it's always fun to get a card.

speaking of "next time"...can we think of doing this again soon?  Would anyone agree to do a "theme"? or just leave well enough alone..? anything is good for me..I just enjoy this a lot and want to get the ball rolling again...

Ed,

Thanks for the beautiful postcard.  I'm not sure I deserve it, however.  I don't think I signed up for this round.  I'll just chalk it up to a happy accident.

Hi Martin, I have a couple spare. Let me PM you to confirm the address I mailed the first one to and I'll put another in the post. Worst case you end up with two...

Diane, I think we should set one up as soon as we can, but I don't think a theme is a great idea...for me anyway (happy to go with the flow). I like the informality of it...although I possibly embraced that a bit too much this time by taking 3 months to mail out my cards.

Bah! Another one that didn't get through. I'll send it again, Vicky. Sorry for this breakdown in the usual service levels.

I always find it handy to invite your self round to Ed's then stay on his sofa for a couple of nights, that way you can simply pick it up yourself.   I thoroughly recommend that approach.

Ed...understandable...just trying to come up with an idea to encourage continued interest...I would be happy to take this next one on unless someone else has their heart set on it! ?

Couple of thoughts. First and foremost I totally enjoyed this exchange, and would like to thank everyone for the all the great cards.  As far as a theme for future exchanges, I would prefer not to have a one. I like the randomness of the images I have received in the two exchanges I have participated in. A theme would not prevent me from participating though.  And finally when is the next exchange? I've got an image chosen and a box of Ilford paper ready to go.  :)

Sounds good. Probably better to start a new thread though to make it bit more visible.
