Another weekend upon us - 10 October

One from southern Missouri, USA.  Taken with a Holga 120N on Tri-X 400.  This badly beaten concrete Native American stands outside a business advertising concrete work.   I think this might be my first post here.  Let me know what you think!

from the rolls developed today.... Great Wall (B&W) & Yashica Mat M w/Rollei #2 proxars.

Greetings all,
Here are four new ones, all taken with a Rolleicord IIb with a Zeiss Triotar lens. The color shots were done with Kodak Ektar 100, and the others were taken with Kodak 400 CN. I'm off to Tokyo next week, so no posts here for a bit. Have a great weekend, everyone :D

 the first is kinda creepy...your blank stare in the ghosty part is bizarre.

Beck,

I think Moominsean nailed the second one with his "Betty Page Nightmare" descriptor.  Every image I have seen you post on here, as well as other sites, has been amazing.  And these two are no exception.  You seem to relish pushing your imagery to the edge, and you do it so masterfully!

And Wavebeat, your second one in particular is quite striking.  What a wonderful abstract construction, and then to add the man with the look of an amputee in the midst of it all is terrific. 

As said earlier, this thread (and oh, so many more on this site) contains some remarkable work.  What a treat to spend time here!

Beck~ I really like that second one as well  - and the first one is creepy and awesome!

Just got these back yesterday - went to the Toronto zoo a few weeks ago and I swear I was the only one without a digital point and shoot - got a few odd looks and changed film in some awkward places  ;D  Fun!

Some great stuff again this weekend.

Ray I love your industrial shots, this is a subject that really appeals to me.

I'm in scanning backlog hell at the moment, I need to put sometime aside and get scanning!
