Collaboration Gallery #18 - "Journey" now online
« on: September 22, 2009, 02:24:11 PM »
Team, the latest collab gallery is now online (thanks to Leon exhibiting the tenacity of Robert The Bruce in the face of bamboozling gallery software  :D :D) ...and BOY it's a cracker. Thanks, everyone, for contributing and helping to make this an entirely successful venture. The photos are lovely as standalone pieces, but this is definitely one of those occasions where you get more out of it if you read the captions.

this is one of the strongest collabs FW's has done to date!
All are immensely intriguing and well thought out.
It's really interesting to see the variety of cameras and film used and also the interpretation of the theme.

Bravo and all thumbs up!  :) :)

They're a strong group of images very diverse. Well done to everyone.
I sent one in too but it doesn't seem to be selected, but on seeing these I'm glad because mine lacked imagination.

Sincerest Apologies Mark - there is no selection process in our collaboration galleries, all submissions are given a place.  It's entirely my fault, somehow I missed your email.  I've put the picture up right away.

I spent most of this evening looking at an revisiting the collaboration, finding something different each time I come back.  A bit like re-reading a favourite book.  A journey of discovering in itself.

The variation in how people have interpreted the theme is lovely, diverse but in some instances the similar.

Becky's and Clive both with the skeleton remains,  Transport images the bus, train, motorcycles and shoes.

As others have said before a strong set of images and a well chosen theme.

Thank you all.

You could do like for those B-Rated movies of the 60's and early 80's and produce it either in Odorama or Smell-O-Vision ;)
