Photography is serious business...
« on: April 24, 2009, 03:24:35 PM »
Yes, photography is serious business.
It's a billion dollar industry. High tech equipment is used daily. And those who make it all worth while are the photographers. While some settle on using only a Holga, other ones feel drawn to the latest and greatest. And when they have the latest and greatest, they sometimes still don't have enough. They then go for not only quality, but quantity (as I have discovered on another site).

Proof is in the picture

I think the kneepads are actually pinhole cameras.

What's fun with this picture is there are tons of games we can play with it. Like "count the cameras", "Guess the biggest focal length", "guess the total focal length" and so on  :D

It's like Where's Waldo... only less colorful.

Does look like golf... I never realized they needed so much stuff to take a picture of Tiger Woods... But come to think about it, a golf course is pretty big...

I don't think he's a pro, just a Flickr addict. I'd guess he's shooting not a sport, but anything that he can and will sort the 2500 pics later.

There are only two things which make them harder to use:
-It's hard to get all the dirt out of the pinholes
-The only way to stop the exposure is to get back on your knees...

This reminds me of a question I've had recently:  Does anyone make money (ie;license images) from off of Flickr??
