so..are we actually doing the self -portrait thing right now..or is this something we will do later?

Yep, I'll be mailing everyone tomorrow with the guidelines and posting them here too so look out for that, but by all means crack on with your self-portraits in the meantime. A quick heads-up for now though; deadline will be sometime around the start of May.

I have been working on SP's for a year or two now.  My goal is to take a few with each roll of film I use, or sometimes I use the entire roll.  And I ALWAYS try and out-do my own weirdness....

Can't wait to do more for this collab!

I have about zero shots of myself by myself.. but will have to make some for the Collab this month.. but here is what you get when you hold a Demekin 110 over your (or in this case, my) head...  (the belly is from the fisheye effect!)

Isn't it amazing that such normally accomplished photographers manage to produce so many out of focus images on this one subject!  ;)

Not my mebyme thingy but this is probably the first self-portraitI have ever liked - nearly. Self-taken wif the FKD 5x7ish beast using a shutterless lens, the dark-cloth as shutter activated with the poker [cold] :-) Cyanotype - eh?

hah! i like these.
here's one from me, that looks nothing like me...i was in an empty flat doing alot of digi pinholes and changing clothes alot...hence the lacey blouse (bought to take pics of) and my allover the place hair.
i like this for the light and colour, particularly the b/g.

Here is an early tintype from this summer and then otherwise, I have actually been doing a number of (self) portraits by going to a commercial studio here in town but those are all digital for the most part...

I thought I had posted a SP myself here, but obviously not, only a sarky comment. A quick look finds an old one myself:

I do also feel compelled to comment on a number here though, starting with Jen, ndroo, Sebastian, and that last one from our new guy. Amazing. See ya! Skj.

If any of you are planning on participating in World Toy Camera on Saturday, and plan on doing some self portraits, please let me know!  I'm going to post my own on my blog but would love to have some others join in, and do a "group feature" sort of thing! :)
