Anyone here heard of Lazertran?
« on: January 23, 2009, 06:21:02 PM »
I stumbled across this website just now. Their various products could well be of use getting your favourite image transferred to glass or fabric. Anyone here tried Lazertran out?

I've had a couple packs of that for several years that I haven't tried out yet.

I've not heard of these guys but have heard of "blender pens" and they look like you could do some interesting transference things with them.

I'm not sure if it's actually lazertran but London Graphic Centre near Covent Garden has loads of cool stuff like that. They don't seem to have it on their website but I do remember seeing the water-slide decal printer paper (and my husband asking me about it. My grandparents ran a ceramics business so I understand how waterslide decals work.) and some glow in the dark t-shirt printing paper and some other cool random stuff like that.

I tried using this for a (non-photographic) project and had enormous problems with it ... but that's possibly my own ineptness!  The lovely lass at the art supply shop was totally effusive about it, and said she uses it all the time.
