Susan in Black and White Photography (again)
« on: June 25, 2006, 07:55:00 PM »
Susan B has written an excellent article in this months (July Edition) Black and White Photography Magazine based on an interview with Keith Carter - otherwise known as Mr Blur.  It is well worth the read - nice one Susan.

That magazine is hard to come by here...Borders doesn't even carry it....but was able to read the pdf file and thought her writing skills were excellent. Good for you, Susan, and bravo for the interview. Keith is something else...and so is that image of the gent and the phonograph. Jeesh..

Ailsa's rag is starting to turn into the Filmwasters Monthly Journal!

(Which IMHO, makes a great magazine even better.)

Nice one, Susan!

Excellent article! Damn glad I got to see it. Beck, I sometimes find the UK B&W mag at Tower Records.

Congrats Susan! Great interview!

Read it on the train last night. That was a fantastic article Susan! I'd not seen any of Keith Carter's work before this. Utterly magical  :)

Overall, this months B+W is cover-to-cover inspiration! For once in my life I'm glad my wife buys so many pairs of shoes  ;)

I thought the article was great, the guy is really inspiring.  I decided to check out the DVD , took a  while  to  decide to buy it but gave in in the end and clicked.  Postage was a bit expensive. Anyway got the DVD and was amazed, this guy has so much to offer. There is hours of great value photography on it. Thanks Susan.

So glad you liked it.  :)
And glad Carter inspired. He has quite a knack for doing that.

Sorry about the postage.
I was told this week that the DVD is now available through Photoeye.com.

Their postage might be cheaper depending on your location--not sure, but worth checking for anyone else interested.

All very exciting. I loved the article and Herr Carter certainly has some aces up his sleeve. Quality stuff.
