Redscale | Half survived
« on: November 03, 2008, 03:18:29 PM »
... but about half of the 24 exp turned out under. Duh! A couple of survivors here. This roll has been sitting in my bag for quite a while, so I think it's a roll of Fuji 400 redscaled and shot on a LCA.

This sure would scare the daylights out of the girl at my photolab...
But my twisted mind is thinking an even more devilish plan
X-pro E6>C41 redscale!
Who will have the guts...

Yikes!

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

Hmm ... you mean make a roll of redscale using slide film, then get it xpro-ed? Sounds fun! I wanna try!  ;D

A process with potential, that's for sure.

Do a search for "xpro" in the Flickr "Redscale" group:

There are some interesting examples.  Xpro redscale Tungsten film looks promising. . . .

those came out wonderful. with redscale it seems different films yield different results. kodak gold often goes, well, gold. i've also seen interesting results from shooting redscale with a blue filter. something i actually want to try one of these days.
