I received a print today from Mr. Gary Moyer (sorry, not sure which username!).  It's a lovely photo of a green house in Bermuda backdropped against a blue sky.  I am sure to put this in the living room wall once we move to our new house.

I just got back from a honeymoon trip to Vietnam and hope to send out my print very soon!!

I Rec'd some fab prints from Andrea.
Here's my favorite of the ones she sent.
My crappy scan doesn't do justice to the amount of detail in the print, especially the rock wall in the foreground!!!!
thanks Andrea! :)

That 'rock wall' is a peat stack. Waiting for the winter to be used as fuel.

Eh, sorry cousins.
I live in the desert and don't see much mud like your peat patties.  I would like to see them in person if I ever come across. :)

The mud I do see is shaped and stacked into adobe walls.

I received quite the package from Yaniv Waissa today. Three wonderful prints of recent work, including images from his series "Traces" and "Swan Song". Also four prints from his series "Butterflies I Haven't Seen There" and the catalogue from his recent exhibit in Serbia, "Transfers". I'm enjoying each print, and learning something different from each of them. Thanks, Yaniv!

Received my print from Jason  Wonderful!! Already have it framed.  Could not have had a nicer print or a better person to send me one--you were correct-I am a La native.  I grew up in Lake Charles and graduated from then USL in Lafayette--very familiar with New Orleans.  I still have alot of family in La. and make it back every once in awhile. Thanks again--Mark

While I was out of town I received two beautiful prints from Peter Robinson.  Not only are they gorgeous images, they came mounted on foamcore behind mattes.

Way to go Peter, up the stakes!

:-)

Truly appreciated and will be hung with pride.

Glad you liked them Rolo. I'm still learning with cyanotypes but I was happy enough with these to send (there were several others I wasn't).

I took a couple of digi-snaps of them before sending them so here they are.

Edit: P.S. I meant to say previously, in case you can't read my writing (quite possible) the titles are 'Crow Point, Devon' and 'Beech trees, Avebury'.

we should wrap this one up soon and prepare for round 7.  All those who havent sent a print yet, please do so asap.  Can all those who haven't received a print yet please PM the person due to send to you to remind them and copy me in so I can keep track of who can join in next round. Andrea - I'm guessing you havent received one yet?

These exchanges are totally dependent upon trust and I am always dismayed by the amount of people who dont honour their part of the deal in each round.  It's very unfair on those of us who put effort into selecting, printing and sending our prints not forgetting the financial costs.  If you are having difficulties in getting your prints out, please let me and your exchange partner know.

thanks

Leon

Heather,

Glad you like 'em.  Both of those were printed on Museo Portfolio Rag.  A new paper for me but it's really lovely.

The b&w was taken with a Brownie Hawkeye Flash with a flipped lens.
