Weekend March 14th - 16th 2025
« on: March 14, 2025, 12:11:42 PM »
I had a stroll around the quayside in Stavanger on Sunday morning. A little haze, perfect for shooting contre-jour. But my 1966 Zeiss Flektogon wasn't all too happy being pointed against the sun.

A friend of mine at the photo center is selling his bike (riding is getting too tough on his back), but he wanted one last photo with it before he lets it go. I made him a trichrome with the Intrepid 8x10; three exposures on HP5 sheet film, each with a different color filter. Fun!

Thanks! Yeah we were both pretty happy (and pleasantly surprised) at how it turned out. I used Photoshop for this version of it, but at some point I'll try my hand at a tricolor analog print from the original negatives using Printmaker's Friend (something I've never attemped before – I've done trichromes in the past with medium format film, but I've never had anything big enough to actually make a decent looking contact print).

a colour shot from a roll I developed yesterday. This is in Port Aransas, Texas. I've been going here since i was a wee one. I always take a photo of this complex, and one is for sale...should I?
It's across the street from a Dairy Queen. What else could one ask for???
Kodak M35 camera with expired Kodak Gold 200 yabba dabba doo!
P.S. I think the Kodak M35 is a good value as a reloadable type disposable camera for road trips. I got mine for 15 USD on sale a few months ago. It's fun
