filmwasters main page
« on: February 18, 2025, 01:51:26 PM »
I know this probably should be in another forum but who reads them.... ;-)

Could the front page be smartened up - that is, the page you get if you go to www.filmwasters.com

I direct people here sometimes from facebook if they're asking film related questions and a nice front page would be enticing.

Funny because I never link through there.
I guess that's going to be a job for either Ed or Satish.
I must admit that a broken image link isn't the best advertisement.
Since so many of the links are broken, I think it would be wise to just put an HTML file with a simple redirect to the forum.

I do direct people to the forum but a nice front page just saying what Filmwasters is would be better.

🙋🏾‍♂️

Yeah, I'll likely be doing the actual coding, but although I'm a pretty good tech guy, I am by NO means a UI/UX guy 😢 Ed is better than me, I'd say. So some time when we both have time (I have a couple of days but then I'm in California for a couple of weeks) we'll sit down and figure out what to do (likely in the easiest, fastest way possible 😁)

Hi Ed 😉

Hi Ed 😉

Which is always better than the François way (which is usually the hardest and slowest path to try and achieve perfection, which always leaves you thinking that the level attained isn't to your liking when you factor in how hard it's been)
