Those shots are really nice, Pete! Reminds me I've got some rolls of 120 Fomapan 100 in the fridge that needs to be used. Maybe get a bulk roll of 35mm Fomapan 100 for brighter days, it's a really nice film.
I've been out testing the "new" Helios-103, it's got it's charms.

Those are nice Peter but that Ferris wheel doesn't look like it would be fun to ride.

I have one sheet of film shot in two very different cameras.  I've had these cameras for a long time but never used them.  I have a Polaroid Land Camera 80A Highlander that has been sitting behind stuff on a shelf for at least 15 years.  I finally decided I needed to use it.  It took type 30 Polaroid roll film which is about 70mm.  I cut down a sheet of 4X5 Kodak T-Max 100 and put it in the camera.  I then realized that the remaining part of that sheet will fit my Ensignette No.2 C De Luxe which took 129 film.  I had been trying to modify the Ensignette to take 127 film but that hasn't worked out.  129 film was made by Kodak from 1912 to 1951.  Now that I see the unimpressive results, I'll probably only use it this once.  The lens is a Achromatic meniscus lens that is a bit dirty inside.  I was unable to get it opened to clean it.  I believe the camera is over 100 years old at this point, the lens retaining rings are seized up pretty good.  These shots were taken in October, I finally got around to doing something with them.

This first one is with the Polaroid 80A.  This truck had been sitting in this same spot, unmoved, since I moved into my neighborhood in 1997.  I used to see the young man that owned it just sitting in it smoking every now and then.  He moved out a long time ago and his mother continued living in the house until a few years ago.  I was surprised to see the truck still there after the house was sold to someone else.  I asked the guy that bought it and he said he negotiated the truck into the deal.  About two weeks ago I was walking Quincy by and there was someone looking under the hood.  Now it's gone, so I guess he sold it.  1975 Ford F150 with a Mac Truck hood ornament.

As the holidays are upon us . . . my dad's late WW2 greeting card, which combined his cartooning skills with his access to a USAAF darkroom. Best wishes to all and much happy filmwasting to come in the new year.

The year has almost ended! For some reason, this one was a long drawn out one...
Mine are a couple from around the yard trying out some Rollei Retro with a Minolta Maxxum 400si that I picked up for cheap earlier this year and just never got around to using.

Pete, that angular light! It's why winter is the best season for photography!
Becky, I think this year seemed longer because it was leap year. That extra day just makes the whole thing drag on. Loving the weathered wood grain.

I don't have anything new this week. I'm making my way through a roll in the Yashica 44LM. Until I get that shot and dunked, here are a couple more Phoenix shots at the Ilan-Lael Foundation. My scanner doesn't quite know what to do with this film, so I spend time trying to color correct with varying degrees (°K) of success.

I must admit that I feel the same way.
This year was rough and is leaving me not feeling great, tired and feeling like I've been through the wringer.

I'm remembering the few sunny day of summer just past, with a trip to Brighton beach in my work lunchtime before the proper cold weather comes

It's weird but even if I've never been to Brighton, I feel like it must be a super fun and inspiring place to be.

I love Brighton beach (UK). It's such a weird combination of old school London vacation town and new commercialized tourist town. Much superior to Brighton Beach (NYC) 😁

I'll admit that I had to google Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.
It looks a lot quieter than the neighboring Coney Island.
I've always wanted to go and visit ever since I was stuck in La Guardia for 4 hours between flights (lets just say it was the longest 4 hours of my life).

La Guardia has gotten a LOT better than even 10 years ago. It used to be worse than most third world airports (sections of wall missing, rivers of water running down hallways, large pieces of tarpaulin flapping in the wind as your only protection against the cold), but the city put a ton of money into it and now it's the most modern of all NYC airports. iPads at every seat and such. It's 1/2 hour from my apartment, but none of the flights go to any place that I want to travel to 😂 So I gotta go 2.5 hours to EWR or 2 hours to JFK 🙄

If you do go to Brighton Beach NYC, brush up on your Russian or you may not be able to communicate with anyone 😁

Yeah, I've seen that.
Last time I was there was during the dark ages.
Hard plastic chairs arranged in a way that you have to sit on them, just one magazine stand and a bathroom in our terminal.
We were about five waiting for the plane. All I had money left for was for a pocket book and the taxi ride home. Lets just say that staring at a blank wall for that long is the definite description of boredom.
