Weekend thread for 27 -29th Sept
« on: September 27, 2024, 07:48:03 PM »
On an drab early September Saturday morning, I drove down to Eastbourne to see the Steampunk meet. I had been a few years back and the weather was a bit kinder, so this time I used a Hanimex Pro 550 flashgun with the modified Mamiya Super 23, (which fitted he theme quite well, as  a talking point) but I dont think it fired every time, so a bit of investigation is needed.
FP4+ devved in Ilfotec HC.

I must admit that it must have been quite fun.
I never thought of steam-punking a camera though... could be interesting.

That does look like a fun event Irv!  I went to my brother’s place in Indianola, Washington for a family gathering.  One of his pugs was quite interested in the Paella.  Leica IIIf with a Summitar 5cm f/2.  Kodak Tri-X developed in Rodinal 1:50.

I'm sure we all would love to see that idea come to fruition ;D

For some odd reason I have the feeling that it didn't take long before that paella was gone leaving a smiling and proud pug...

Sorry, no Paella for the pug.  I’m not sure that old dog can even reach it, they’re not a very athletic breed.

It's not surprising as they are an "engineered" breed made to be a lap dog for the emperor of China...
