Toycam handbook
« on: January 09, 2008, 08:17:03 PM »
The Toycam Handbook is up on Amazon. I know Susan Leon and Gary made contributions to it.  Its a fine little book.  What's interesting is there is a collectable version for $129.  Here it is http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/1411663810/ref=dp_olp_1/104-3370406-1238355?ie=UTF8&qid=1197552109&sr=8-1

Who else from Filmwasters was included.

This was a large-scale joint project, and one example of where it all came together smoothly, accurately with a great tenable result. Full credit is given on the title page...

One of the fw crew invented the concept, did the core design for the camera reviews, photographed & wrote some tech stuff for it, did the cover concept, and published it. I think it was the kid with the Fujipet around his neck... I guess I can say this.

i think that copy for $129 was signed by me. even though i didn't have anything to do with the book, my signature is worth that much. maybe even $133.

the filmwasters should put out a collab book of their work.

and i didn't know the chunky kid from 'stand by me'  put together the toycam handbook.

I think this is an early photo of the Filmwasters who are pointing at something Susan did off camera...  ;)

From memory I think all 5 of the 'founder Filmwasters' contributed something to the Toycamera Handbook and a whole lot of other people who regularly participate here did so as well. It's a really great little book and it was a fantastic team effort.

Not sure about the USD129 though!! What's that all about?

I contributed an article about pinhole conversion for it.

Don't understand the price though!
