Looking for large UV filters
« on: July 27, 2023, 10:43:26 PM »
As you probably all know, I got a new lens the other day. Well, in actuality, I really got two. The only problem is that they have massive front elements (don't ask me why as they are f/3.5 and f/4.5 respectively).

So, I'm now on the hunt for 67mm UV filters to protect them. So I thought of asking first if any of you has one sleeping in a drawer?

Thanks
Francois

I've got lots of UV filters in different sizes, but only one in 67mm and that's sitting on a Hasselblad lens. I think Canon uses a lot of 67mm filter threads, so if there's a Canon owner here............

Mine's a pair of modern-ish Nikkors.
When looking at them, I still can't figure out why not use a good old 52mm or 62mm for those lenses. I have a few of those and it's not like the aperture on those lenses warrants such big glass...
