Funnily enough, my sister asked me to take some pictures of my nephews wedding on film, next month she wants different ones than from the official photgrapher.

I've found that shooting a roll or two of B+W adds another dimension to the digital/color images the hired photographers provide. Wandering around with a camera also gives me something to do that doesn't involve making small talk, at which I'm not particularly good.

I took some View-Master shots at a friends wedding several years ago and gave them a reel with a viewer.  Now, every time I visit them I see that viewer sitting out, they love it.
