Hmm? Not mine eh? I think Bryan said he's got mine so some made it across the water. If it doesn't arrive soon I'll put another in the post - I have plenty left over.

Hmmmm. Interesting. Let's give it another week. We still use wild ponies out here....

Yes, I have some experience of the US postal system when I've ordered replacement camera covers from Hugo Studio in Texas. They're tracked so I can follow their progress. Usually they go to a 'partner facility' and get shipped (probably by pony) to a gazillion different depots before arriving at the airport. Usually takes a couple of weeks at least. Then, once it's on the plane, it takes a couple of days to get to me.

Let me know if nothing arrives in a week and I'll send another.

And if anyone else hasn't got mine yet, same rules apply.

I got the one from Pete_R a few weeks ago, my mail is usually pretty quick, we don’t use ponies anymore.

I was out of town for a few weeks and came back to find a really nice one from Kai.  I think I’ve received 9 total so far.

You're lucky that they don't use ponies anymore. Here they just ask some random guy on the street if he's going in the general direction that the mail is going to.
And if you pay for air mail, they just strap it to the belly of a carrier pigeon... lets just say it's simply horrible, just like Canada Post's phone service.

the pony express finally found it's way to my house and delivered Pete's lovely postcard today.
It looks like it's been in the saddle since the beginning of August.  It's always a wonder as to where it's been all this time, but it arrived in near perfect condition!'
Thanks so much!  8)

I also received another card from Manuel, a fantastic atmospheric woodland shot.
It has prompted me to get back up in the darkroom, when time allows and print some more cards to send.

Manuel's wonderful second arrived yesterday, thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.

All in all, it's been a stellar exchange, so thanks all for your cards, and cheers to Irv for organising.

Reviving this thread as I just received another card from Harvey. Thanks Harvey.

Looks like it was posted on the 14th December and I just got it today. That's out wonderful Royal Mail for you.

Thanks all, I'm glad they are getting through. I'm conscious that I spend a lot of time here without really contributing so it's a way of saying thank you.
