Looks like beautiful country Irv, I need to take a trip there someday.

I was experimenting with some still life’s using a frosted glass window for a backdrop and back lighting.  Graflex Crown Graphic 4x5 camera with Graflex Optar f/4.7 135mm lens using T-Max 100, expired 8/1997, developed in Kodak HC-110 Dilution B for 7.5 minutes.

Nice weekend start.
Scotland is on my list of places to visit as well.
Any more photos from there you can share Irv?

Nice still lifes Bryan. I especially like that perfume bottle.

Nice shots all. I had to read Bryan's description twice because of the cognitive dissonance caused by my expectation of reading "developed in beer" and actually seeing HC110!!

This is a couple more from the roll of expired Slide Dupe developed in DIY ECN2.

I was going to color correct this since the scanner did an abominable job, but then who can resist blue and orange?

I used my new Yankee Agitank, that thing takes 55oz (1.6L) of developer!  Didn’t have that much beer lying around so I used the HC-110.  I also had to make up a second liter of fix.  I’ll need to get a keg of beer if I’m going to keep using the Agitank.

That's a bit the problem with 4x5 tanks, except for the one from stearman press, they pretty much all take too much chemistry.

I use the Patterson tank insert type so I can do 6 sheets in a liter. I don't usually find myself with more exposed sheets than that, so it works well for me.

I've got two tanks, including an old Bakelite model that can process something like a dozen sheets at a time... this one takes a whole lot of chemicals.
I also have a CombiPlan... but I end-up doing tray development under a safelight since all I have is some ortho film.

I have the stainless steel Nikkor tank that only takes a Liter for up to 12 sheets.  The problem with that tank is loading can be difficult and the metal braces in the center can leave bands on the film if you’re not extremely careful with agitation.  Other than the amount of chemistry involved I do like the Yankee Agitank.
