Nice start Bryan, you don't often see a picture nowadays made with a close-up attachment. I recently purchased a lens that came with a Zeiss-Opton Proxar f=1m, perhaps I should give it a try.

We had summer weather last week so headed to the coast for a few days. I also got a strange light leak.

I think the square pattern in the light leak is the pattern that is on the pressure plate. Looks like it anyway. But I'm not sure how it got there.

Great start guys!
Bryan I love the flower and good to see Rachel!
Pete, I had a leak similar to that with my Zorki 6 and it needed a little extra felt to seal around the back door.
Kai-San, are those shingles tiles, or is that corrugated metal? I love roof lines!
I did a quick test from a Holga I converted to Pinhole. Mainly just to do something and to test an old packet of photo paper that I thought might be fogged.
Turns out the paper is fine, so this is from yesterday morning facing east after an overnight rain.
Sloshed in caffenol for five minutes. The exposure was 45 seconds.
Happy Weekend everyone!

Thanks Kai, I have several close-up attachments that fit different lenses.  The ones I have for bay 1 mount are cheap off brand versions, not the better Rollei ones.  I still enjoy using them and I've always been happy with the results.  I also have a Proxar for one of my 9X12 cameras that I haven't used yet.  Haven't really needed it with the bellows extension.

Yeah, I'm sure it's going to be that but it was OK last time I used it (which was quite a while ago admittedly) and the seals all look good. I've put another film in it and will do a more controlled test to identify where it's coming in then get it fixed.

Becky, those are real burnt clay tiles (un-glazed). They are quite common here and they are re-used many times over. If a building gets pulled down or someone decides to replace them with a better quality, you will se ads for these. Some people will give them away for free if you pick them up.

I'm going to color things up a bit since I just scanned my photos from a trip to Sedona, Arizona. These are from an F2 loaded with expired (1981) Ektachrome Slide Duplication film developed in DIY ECN2. The ECN2 developer is very unforgiving of exposure, so many of the shots were grainy and muddy. These came out pretty nice though.

James, those are nice.
Sedona never disappoints.  I think the color contrasts of the sky and the rocks in that part of the world are really bold.
I had never heard of the ECN2 DIY kit, I may have to look into it as I'd like to shoot some of my old Velvia this summer.

Summer is for color!

Velvia just needs S6 chemistry, so no need for ECN2 chemistry.
ECN is used for movie film and some of the San Francisco Filmworks stuff (which was respooled movie film)

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

If anyone wants a DIY ECN-2 "kit" give me a shout. The powders to make a liter cost about $5, so I don't mind sharing. I have enough CD-3 and CD-4 developers to last us all the rest of our lives.
