I've had a bulk loader in storage, pretty much forever. Having not bothered to take it out of its box for the past two or three decades, I had forgotten that it's still loaded with an indeterminate amount, perhaps 50 feet or so, of Ilford HP4 from 1976. Bryan's adventures with Carter-era film provided the incentive, so I spooled up a roll and did a 4-stop bracket test. After 45 years, ISO 25-30 seems to be about right; the base fog alone, to my eye, is at least 3 stops, maybe more. Lab processed for now. Eventually, I'll buy some D-76 or HC-110 and a bottle of benzotriazole, and see if I can get better results at home.
Pentax MX and 35/2.8, because a period-appropriate camera seemed in order.
