It's the Weekend! January 7-9, 2022

We missed a white Christmas by one day but it did give me an opportunity to take my new Rolleicord out in the snow.  Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros II developed in Kodak HC-110 Dilution B.

We had a rare "wet Christmas" here in Southern California, with about 4.5 inches of rain for the month of December. Fingers crossed, that won't be the only rain we receive for the year.

From a walk on our local trail on one of the dry days last month. Leica M4-P, Summicron 35/2, and Kentmere 400. I've had intermittent luck with that particular emulsion, sometimes very grainy, others quite pleasing.

We had a drab ( weather) Xmas but I bought a new 5x4 three hole, multi format pinhole from 'Reality so Subtle' in early December and it came in the gap between Xmas and New year, so I went out to try it around my local graveyard.

It doesn't look like we'll get any snow here in the coming week, +3C today and the forecast for next week is +9C. I'm quite happy with that, any snowfall here very quickly turns into ice and then I can't get out to shoot.

Nice shots all. I will add to Kai's beach shots with a couple I took on Saturday down at Pacific Beach (San Diego). These were taken on the Bronica S2a (fancy corners included for no extra charge). The film is some 2001 expired Tmax that I think Bryan donated. I shot it at 50 and developed in 510Pyro for 9 minutes. I would have liked the negs a little more dense. Maybe EI 20 next time.

Running a little late again here ::)

Lots of stunning b/w images here again! Hoping for a little snow in Blighty too at some point.

Meanwhile, we had a couple of sunny days here, and I managed to shoot some Adox film: the first is from a roll of HR-50 (in Paranol S 1:25, 5m at 20c); the second from a roll of IR-HR Pro at 25iso (Paranol S, 1:25, 8m at 20c).
