Stock UP: Fujifilm Raising Prices
« on: April 03, 2021, 02:38:14 PM »
Just announced this week, a 43% increase in Fujifilm C200 film in the UK.  This after a 30% increase in 2019.

Is this related to Brexit or will the price rise be global?

Don’t buy color film usually so do not check often. It’s always a shock to see the prices. After looking at the link decided to check prices in the US and at B&H Fujicolor was out of stock so no telling what it will be when again available. The cheapest color negative was $29.99 or $6 a roll for a 5 pack of Kodak Pro Image, ISO 100 in 36 exposure rolls.
There is no on site processing labs in my area so if I wanted to use color negative would have to buy the kits and process at home, like I’ve done with B&W for the last 50+ years.

Time to get out the Crayons.
